We (Still) Need to Talk About Race: Dr. Beverly Daniel Tatum

When: Thursday, April 8, 2021 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM
Where: Virtual
Description: Join us for a Norman and Florence Brody Family Foundation Public Policy Forum, a discussion with Dr. Beverly Daniel Tatum.

The Black Lives Matter protests in the summer of 2020 reignited a national conversation on racism in America. Though the months that followed saw some progress on antiracism, the recent insurrection at the Capitol on January 6, 2021 shows that America's work is far from done. Join Dr. Beverly Daniel Tatum--an established voice on race and author of "Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria? And Other Conversations about Race" --to consider the changes needed at all levels to continue progressing toward a more just society.
