In this online interview, Dr. Nicol Turner-Lee discusses the impact of surveillance technologies on civil liberties and how such technologies are changing the nature of public safety work. Dr. Turner-Lee is a sociologist and Senior Fellow of Governance Studies at the Brookings Institution. She is the director of the Center for Technology Innovation, and serves as Co-Editor-In-Chief of TechTank, a blog that focuses on new developments in science and technology policy.
